Labor relationship in Vietnam is promulgated under Labor Code, as well as under other rulings and provision relating to Personal Income Tax and Social Insurance.
Once the employment is engaged, both employer and employee are required to contribute Social Insurance (SHUI) on monthly basis. The Company registers SHUI unit code for SHUI contribution. While local employee engaging under labor contract are required to be registered with SHUI authority, foreign labor is required to contribute SHUI under separate SHUI unit code.
Monthly payroll is calculated based on payment schedule, using our excel template. This will be customized to reflect your company’s actual circumstance. Any changes i.e. new hire, salary increment etc. is combined and included monthly payroll when they come.
Expatriate compliance is looked under two subheadings with (i) visa and (ii) work permit application. Foreign labor is required to obtain work permit in order to work in Vietnam. With work permit, foreign labor can get Temporary Resident Card (TRC) for living in Vietnam, as well as open bank account to receive salary under labor engagement.
